GRAND OPENING: Give and Get Quickpage Exchange

Introducing the very first
SOTB Give and Get Quickpage Exchange!
(This will be a monthly challenge hosted by Tahera.)

Yup, just what the ad says!

We will pick the kit.
You create a wonderful quickpage or two or three with it (see below for specifications and tutorial link).
You upload your quickpage and/or layout into the Give and Get gallery located here: http://www.scrapoutsidethebox.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=897
Upload your quickpage to a file sharing site and PM me the link, or get it to me somehow!
When the assigned time frame is up, I will send everyone who participated ALL of the quickpages!

PLEASE NOTE:
1. Your Quickpages can be 12x12 or 8.5 x 11 or 4x6.
2. All quickpages should be in either .png format if the picture is loaded behind, or high resolution jpg.
3. All quickpages should be full size. Do not shrink them, except for previews for the gallery.

That's pretty much it. Making a layout with out the picture and saving it as a png file so the whole you leave for a picture stays open. If you aren't leaving it open, just sitting the picture on a mat, you can store as a jpeg.

i think i know how to do the quck page, but i dont know how to save it so you can use it
will it save in layers or waht

make your layout, you can either do a regular layout with pics or just a plain one for the QP. I find it easier to use pics, even if they don't match, helps with sizing and so forth. Remove any journaling or writing you did. Make a magic lasso marching ants around your picture, delete your picture and delete EVERY layer below, the papers, the mat, etc. Then save as a .png and you have your QP!

Thanks Jen for putting them together. I just wanted to mention that mine are a scallopped mini album, so they aren't 12x12... they are more like 6x6, just so you don't get disappointed when trying to print them down the road.
